HTSD team takes 2nd place at World Finals 2024!
The Odyssey of the Mind World Finals included ~700 teams originating from all over the US (majority of the states were represented) and around the globe (including China, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland).
The Wyland team (which included students from Central, Poff, and Wyland) won second place for their vehicle solution!! They competed among the top teams from around the world (44 in their age division solving the vehicle problem). Kudos team!!
HTSD Heading to World Finals 2024!
The HTSD Odyssey of the Mind program had 16 teams participate at the Western PA Regional Odyssey of the Mind tournament on March 2, 2024. Eight teams advanced to the state tournament on April 6, with students from all five schools in the district represented. Two elementary teams, with students from Central, Poff and Wyland, are advancing to the World Finals! Congratulations to all of our teams on a great season and good luck to our teams going to World Finals! To support our teams, please consider a donation on our website.
